The WESL supports experimental research and education in wind energy. It enables investigation of wind turbine generators and power management systems. Wind turbine emulators, machine dynamometers, and power electronic converters facilitate research and development in the areas of power electronics, machine dynamics, control systems, health monitoring, and grid integration.
